  • Legget & Platt steel-base as wide as chair for solid stability.
  • Base bolted completely through frame using grade 5 bolts and locking t-nuts so they cannot vibrate loose.
  • All other bolts are grade 5 and double nutted using a serrated locking nut and an aircraft grade nylon locking nut.
  • The frame is constructed of kiln dried hardwood, with oak used in any stress point.  The composition uses plywood and composite board. The Med-Lift frame is the only frame to be rated ‘heavy duty’.
  • The seat has a minimum of five 9 gauge non-sag springs tied together with two sets of tie wires. The competition typically uses four springs.
  • The seat has two layers of celloflex foams, which hols 99% of its shape and size after compression.
